The Jungle party is a co-creative event inspired by the principles of Burning Man. Everyone is encouraged to bring something to contribute, whether its art, or performance or even something to eat. The idea is to bring together peoples diverse talents and perspectives. Each event is a unique blend of peoples imagination that creates a memorable experience for all.

 

For the new years event I wanted to create something that reflected these values of vibrant fluidity, movement, and collaboration. As such I decided to begin with painting, which I did with a good friend of mine, James Pierce. During the painting process we used a combination or wind, water, and fire to get the composition and textures we wanted.

 

After this the result was digitized and transformed to create a poster, a map, and timetable that were visually striking, and communicated the essence the event.
